Tsyr-Huey Mental Hospital, located in the Fengshan area between Kaohsiung and Pingtung District, is a large mental hospital which provides outpatient, emergency and community services since its opening in 1990.
At present, there are 70 beds in acute ward, 229 beds in chronic wards, 30 beds in day-care wards and 410 patients under home care service. Tsyr-Huey Mental Hospital also provides complete and continuous mental health cares and actively participates in various communities mental health works including treatment program for domestic violence victims, educational program for sexual assaulted victims, suicide prevention program, forensic psychiatric evaluation and collaboration with Kaohsiung and Pingtung District mental health network for education of various health-care professionals.
