Hello everyone!

IMHCTC（International Mental Health Cooperation and Training Center, Taiwan）, which is supported by the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MoHW), continues to undertake the “New Southbound Policy – Promoting International Psychiatric Medical and Mental Health Talent Training and Establishing an International Cooperation Platform”. The work team this year shall include Kaohsiung Municipal Kai-Syuan Psychiatric Hospital, Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital, Taipei Veterans General Hospital Yuli Branch, Tsyr-Huey Mental Hospital and Yo – Chin Medical Foundation Hospital. These five (5) institutions will work together to integrate the mental health care network and to cooperate with the New Southbound Countries mental health agencies through the professional knowledge exchange, and to introduce the excellent community mental rehabilitation models and medical management in Taiwan.

Students who have completed online courses for Southeast Asian mental health professionals under the 2025 IMHCTC training program will have the opportunity to come to Taiwan to participate in the on-site training courses. This year, the Center is scheduled to conduct overseas teaching courses in Indonesia and the Philippines in April and June respectively. In addition, the 8th “New Southbound International Mental Health Cooperation and Training Center Seminar” is expected to be held on November 5, 2025. We hope to have the chance to invite you to Taiwan to join in our annual event in person.
